Karina Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor break up / split

It is well known that Karina Kapoor dumped Shahid Kapur but the question is why..?? There are too many speculations about why Shahid and Kareena have parted ways. Some people say its because of her career, which she gives top priority and some say its because of their misunderstandings, Some say the increasing closeness between Karina and Saif is the cause behind Break up, some say Shahid’s friendship with  Amrita Rao etc. Some source reveals that Shahid is very upset with his break off, while Kareena is calm..!!

At last Shahid opened his mouth on the issue of his break up with Kareena. Naturally the question is what was the reason of their break up.? Shahid Kapoor did not give any reasons for that he just wishes Kareena all the happiness in the world and says she is a wonderful girl. He was cordial toward her and maintained his dignity. He had no argument with her. And now he is sinking himself in work to come out of this.

Kareena doesn’t assign any special reason for that but it seems that all are pointing at Kareena only. Some say its because his sinking career that she left him. But god who can be so irrational in love.? God knows the truth..!!

On Oct 18, 2007, Saif Ali Khan confirmed their relationship saying, “Yes, we are not exactly shouting from the rooftops but yes, clearly we are together. And we are happy together!”. Recently the couples have accepted it publicly.

After his break-up with Kareena, Shahid has been linked to almost every Bollywood actress, Vidya Balan, Priyanka Chopra etc.

What Kareena Kapoor says

“Why am I being dragged into all this? I’ve moved on and I wish Shahid Kapur would also do so. Nothing can separate Saif and me. Certainly not these silly attempts to drag me back to a past I’ve left behind. Please leave us alone.”

“Why am I being dragged into all this? I don’t like my name to come up in connection with other people’s lives. I’ve moved on and I wish Shahid Kapur would also do so.”

What Shahid Kapoor says

“I wish her all the happiness in the world. I have great respect for her. She’s a wonderful girl. ”

“For all ye girls out there, I am single and ready to mingle!”

“It will be dishonest to say that this doesn’t affect me. I am human, it hurts to see and read this all the time. I guess I have no choice but to live and deal with it,”

“I hold nothing against anybody, if I do, it will pull me down, and I’m not like that. I’ll cherish the good memories of that relationship and move on. That’s what I’m doing – looking at the positive side and trying to be happy.”

“I’m linked to all my co-stars. With Kismat Konnection it was Vidya Balan, now with Kaminey it is Priyanka.”

“Priyanka and I are good friends. However, people have been jumping the gun. If we take our relationship further, I may talk about it; but people are in a rush to link us together. I will not lie or hide a relationship but I will not stand on the rooftop and announce it either.”

Last bite : Whatever may be the truth the wishes of the couple’s fan is that, they have to be happy no matter together or not. Lets wish all the best for their careers.

Aindrita Ray quotes

“After Junglee may be all will call me as a sex symbol. However I have not worked towards getting the tag. As an artiste we have to be open towards such risks.”

“I am very much confident about my success in Kannada film industry. Though I am not able to speak Kannada, I can understand it. I hope that I can speak Kannada while taking part in my second movie”.

“The script matters a lot to me. And so does the director because he/she’s the one who handles the script. The banner is secondary. And I just don’t give a damn about the hero. I’m ready to act with anybody provided the script is good and my character in the movie is defined well. My role should give me a chance to perform.”

“Great artists like Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit and even Trisha have at the beginning of their careers titled as glam dolls, but they never had any shortcomings as performers. Sridevi is my idol. In films like Chandni and Mr India she has done hip shaking dances. Here also we have actresses like Malashri. May be I will transform as well. I took up acting, as I was passionate towards it. I consider it a privilege to work with director like Soori at early stage in my career. I see no problem in doing what he wants me to do.”

“Yograj Bhat is my favorite director. And working with him is top priority. He’s one of the best directors we have”

“It’s my birthday today and I know that my team has planned a huge surprise for me. I can’t wait to have a party. I’m throwing a party for my crew and I’ve even ordered for a huge bottle of champagne for all the guys. This has always been my dream — to travel with friends on my birthday and be with my family. This is the first time I’ve got to do both.” [2009]

“If we all have to come together and launch a movement, somebody has to take up the responsibility to do so, right?” [about Sandalwood]

“It’s the first time I’ve shot for a number of this kind, so initially I was really nervous. But Suri and Vijay ensured I was comfortable, so I was fine after a while. In the songs, I’ve worn some really funky clothes, including hot pants and a loose boy’s shirt. I’ve never worn anything so short and hot before,” [about film ‘Junglee’]

“There was this really filmi scene in which he lifts me up, throws me into water and then I run upto him again and he lifts me. Both Vijay and I were laughing throughout that sequence. I also had to give these seductive looks into the camera and also at Vijay, and I felt quite awkward doing that. But I agreed to do it because of Suri sir. I completely trust him. I’m confident that I won’t look vulgar because Suri shoots everything so aesthetically. It takes a mature director to deal with something like that because it’s a thin line between vulgarity and sensuality,” [about film ‘Junglee’]
