Tamil actor Prasanna biography facts

#  Prasanna was born on 28th Aug 1982 in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India in an Iyer family.

#  Prasanna’s father served BHEL before retiring few years back & his mother is a housewife.

#  Prasanna has a younger brother.

#  He attended “BHEL Matriculation Higher Secondary School” in Trichy and “Saranathan College of Engineering” in Tiruchirapalli.

#  During his school days itself he showed interest in acting and used to do mimicry and acting in school functions.

#  Despite of his parents opposition he attended the audition for actors in “Five Star” when he was doing EEE at Saranathan College of Engineering.

#  Prasanna made his acting debut with “Five Star” in 2002 alongside Kanika and Sandhya P. The film was produced by Mani Ratnam and it did very well at the box office.

#  His subsequent films failed at the box office miserably. He tasted success only after two years in “Azhagiya Theeye” in 2004.

#  Apart from films he often appears on TV shows, he hosted a game show called “Honeymoon Jodigal” on Sun TV in 2010.

#  Prasanna fell in love with his co-star Sneha during the filming of Achchamundu! Achchamundu! in 2008. But both of them denied such a relationship then. But after four years Prasanna married Sneha on 11th May 2012.
