Aishwarya Rai was born in Mangalore,in the state of karnataka, India on November 1,1973 (1973-11-01). His father Krishnaraj Rai, was a marine engineer, and mother Vrinda Rai, was a writer. She has a brother by name Aditya. She got married to Abhishek Bachchan on April 20 2007 the event is covered by the media unprecedently. Now she is the daughter in law of living Legend Amitabh Bachchan. Aishwarya knows English Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Marathi.
She took interest in modelling while studying architecture.In 1994 she became Miss India and also Miss World. Later she started working for magazines as a professional.
Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai dated for years but unfortunately the couple broke up soon. After breaking up with Salman khan she started dating Vivek Oberoi but it was for a very less time. Later she married Abhishek Bachchan and the couple gave birth to baby girl on 16 Nov 2011. She was in news for a long time for her weight gain during her pregnancy and even after child birth.
