# Anushka Shetty birth name is Sweety Shetty, she is also called Sweety and Tommulu. She was born on 7th Nov 1981 in Mangalore, India to Prafulla and A.N. Vittal Shetty. She has two siblings namely Gunaranjan Shetty & Sai Ramesh Shetty.
# She did her schooling in Bangalore. She has a degree in Computer Applications from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore.
# She learnt yoga under guru Bharat Thakur and practices Yoga daily to keep her body fit.
# She knew director E Nivas through her Yoga guru Bharat and he introduced her to Puri Jagannath for an audition in “Super”.
# She made her film debut with Puri Jagannath’s “Super” opposite Akkineni Nagarjuna in 2005. The film was one among the most
successful movies of the year. She later appeared alongside big stars in the industry. Her initial successful movies include Vikramarkudu, Lakshyam, Billa etc
# After doing several movies in telugu she started learning telugu and since she is a South Indian it was easy for her to pick up telugu soon.
# She is one among the tallest actresses in film industry. She stands at 5.9 1/2 feet and she thinks that her height is not a problem because ” Singam” was a huge hit despite Suriya being shorter than her.
