* Charmy Kaur was born on 17th May 1987 in Vasai, Maharashtra, India in a Punjabi Sikh family.
* Her name is also spelt as Charmi Kaur and Charmee Kaur.
* Charmy Kaur attended “Carmelite English High School” in Vasai, near Mumbai.
* Charmy made her film debut with “Nee Thodu Kaavali” in 2002, she was just 15 years old when she played an housewife role in the movie. Though the film failed at box office she was able to get recognition for her role.
* Her initial movies were flop and she finally got her first break with Telugu film “Gowri” alongside Sumanth in 2004. Her subsequent film “Mass” opposite Nagarjuna was also a huge hit.
* Her thriller film ‘Mantra’ in 2007 was a commercial hit and she even won Nandi Award for her performance in the film.
* After much success in Telugu film industry she also worked for Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films.
