*    Esha Deol was born on 2nd Nov 1981 in Mumbai to Bollywood legends Dharmendra and Hema Malini.

*    Ahana Deol is her younger sister. Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeeta and Ajeeta are her half-siblings born out of Dharmendra’s first marriage with Prakash Kaur.

*    Esha Deol studied fashion designing at ‘Mithibai College’ Mumbai.

*    Esha Deol is well trained in classical Bharatanatyam and Odissi. She even performed Bharatanatyam with her mother on several stage shows.

*    She made her Bollywood with Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe in 2002 alongside Aftab Shivdasani, Sanjay Kapoor and Jaya Bachchan, but the film failed to do well at the box office.

*    Her name ‘Esha’ is derived from Sanskrit term which means “the divine beloved”.

*    During her college days Esha Deol had much interest fot sports and she used to play soccer as a midfielder.

*    The actress speaks English, Hindi and Tamil fluently.

*    She obtained Masters Degree in Media Arts and Computer Technology from Oxford University.
