“The way I live my life today is pretty consistent of the way I lived it back then, I just wanted to do whatever I wanted to do. I remember being 13, 14 years old, and just skipping certain classes and sneaking into the guitar room, and hiding out and playing in the music room.”
“Had things not worked out in my life the way they did, had I not found music when I was young, there’s a possibility I could have gone in a similar direction.”
“Every character you play has parts of you in it, and there’s some of me in Captain Jack. But now there’s probably more of Captain Jack in me now. He won’t leave me alone. He showed up this morning as I was getting my kids ready for school, but I managed to shoo him away.”
