* Karisma Kapoor was born on 25th June 1974 in Mumbai to Bollywood legends Randhir Kapoor and Babita.
* Her younger sister Kareena Kapoor is also an actress.
* She is from a very strong filmy background noted filmmaker Raj Kapoor is her grandfather, Prithviraj Kapoor is her great-grandfather, Rajiv Kapoor & Rishi Kapoor are her uncles, Ranbir Kapoor is cousin.
* Karisma attended ‘Cathedral and John Connon School’ & ‘Sophia College’ in Mumbai.
* In 2002 her engagement was announced with Abhishek Bachchan but few months later the couple broke up. Later Karisma married Sanjay Kapur,anindustrialist on 29th Sep 2003. The couple gave birth to two children Samaira, born in 2005 and Kiaan Raj Kapoor born in 2010.
