*    Kashmira Shah was born on 2nd Dec 1970 in Mumbai in a half Gujarati and half Marathi family.

*    Noted Hindustani singer, Anjanibai Lolekar is her Grandfather.

*    Kashmira Shah divorced her American husband Brad Listermann, after she fell in love with Govinda‘s nephew Krishna / Abhishek.

*    Kashmira Shah fell in love with krishna when they were shooting for director S Soni’s film Pappu Paas Ho Gaya in Jaipur. The couple found opposition from their family, but later it was reported that the families accepted their relationship.

*    When she appeared on the TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ she confessed her love with Krishna.

*    In 1993 she won the ‘Miss World University India’.

*    The actress also won the Miss India Talent award, the contest was held in South Korea.

Kashmira says she had consented to doing that scene because she believed that it would only show her bare back. The makers of the film said that the scenes were shot with her consent only and they have refused to show the film to her. Kashmira planned to get a stay order against the release of the film. However the scenes were  already available on internet.

*    She made her film debut with telugu film Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu in 1996.
