*    Malaika Arora was born on 23rd Oct 1973 in Chembur to Anil Arora and Joyce Polycarp. Her father is a Punjabi whereas her mother is a Malayali.

*    Her father Anil Arora served Indian Merchant Navy.

*    Actress Amrita Arora is her younger sister.

*    She is sister-in-law to Bollywood super star Salman Khan and Sohail Khan.

*    She attended “Swami Vivekanand School” Chembur, “Holy Cross High School” Thane and “Jai Hind College” Churchgate.

*    The actress was one of the prominent VJ’s of MTV India. She was given prominent roles at Awards Functions and concerts of MTV.
