# Malayalam actress Bhama was born on 23rd May 1988 in Manarkadu, Kottayam, Kerala to late Rajendra Kurup. She has two elder sisters.
# Her birth name is Rekhita. She preferred to use Bhama as her screen name.
# She started her career as Kairali TV host and she also appeared in a devotional album.
# Her talent was recognized by director Lohithadas and he offered a lead role in his Malayalam film Nivedyam and hence she made her acting debut with “Nivedyam” in 2007. Lohithadas played a vital role in molding her career in the industry.
# She has a beautiful voice and she even worked as a playback singer but never took singing seriously amidst tight cinema schedule.
