# Naga Chaitanya Akkineni was born on 23rd Nov 1986 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India to Tollywood star Akkineni Nagarjuna & Lakshmi Daggubati.
# He was born in a filmy family. His paternal grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao is a Tollywood legend, Daggubati Ramanaidu is his maternal grandfather, who produced more than hundrend movies. Actor Daggubati Venkatesh is his uncle.
# His parents got divorced when he was just four years old. After the divorce Lakshmi Daggubati moved to Chennai with Naga Chaitanya.
# He attended “PSBB School” in Chennai and used to play guitar and drums in his school band.
# After completion of his formal education he took film career seriously and joined an acting school in Mumbai. Later he went to “Hollywood Studios” in California to learn under professionals.
# After much anticipation Chaitanya made his acting debut with “Josh” in 2009 alongside Karthika Nair and J. D. Chakravarthy. The film failed miserably at the box office, however he earned “Filmfare Best Male Debut Award” for his performance in the film.
# Chaitanya’s first blockbuster movie was “Ye Maaya Chesave” directed Gautham Menon in 2010. His performance was much praised by the film critics and he was Nominated for “Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Actor”.
