#  Parvathi Menon was born in April 1986 in Calicut, India to Vinod Kumar and Usha Kumari.

#  She attended “Kendriya Vidyalaya” Pangode, Trivandrum. She did her bachelors degree at “All Saints’ College” at Trivandrum, Kerala.

#  After completion of her B.A. in English Literature she took M.A. through distance education as she was too busy with film schedules.

#  She is a well trained Bharatanatyam dancer.

#  She started her career as TV an anchor at Kiran TV, she gained popularity through her live phone-in-programs on Kiran TV.

#  After few years of successful career as an anchor she made her acting debut with Malayalam film “Out of Syllabus” alongside Arjun Sasi and Niranjana in 2006.

#  She later entered other south Indian film idustries also. She made her Kannada debut with “Milana” alongside Puneet Rajkumar and Pooja Gandhi. The movie was huge commercial hit.

#  She made her Tamil film debut with “Poo” opposite Srikanth. Her performance was appreciated by film critics and she won “Filmfare Best Tamil Actress Award” and “Vijay Award for Best Debut Actress” for her role.
