#  Pawan Kalyan’s birth name is Konidala Kalyan Babu. He was born on 2nd Sep 1971 in Bapatla, India to Konidela Venkata Rao and Anjana Devi.

#  His brother is none other than Tollywood legend Chiranjeevi and his another sibling Nagendra Babu is an actor and producer.

#  He has several family members in film land, Allu Aravind, Ram Charan Teja Konidala and Allu Arjun are also his relatives.

#  He entered Tollywood film industry with “Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi” in 1996 and the first movie itself was a huge hit running 100 days in 7 Centres In Andhra Pradhesh. He delivered blockbuster movies in a row which includes Gokulamlo Seetha, Suswagatham,Tholi Prema,Thammudu, Badri and Kushi.

#  He married Nandini in 2007 but due to some differences the couple got divorce in 2009. Pawan married his Badri co-star Renu Desai on 28th Jan 2009 and they have children Akira Nandan and Aadhya.

#  Pawan’s favorite director is Akira Kurosawa and he named his son Akira Nandan after him.

#  He is well trained in all types of martial arts. He earned black belt in karate, he even displayed his martial skills in his films without taking any dupes. He was given title “Pawan” after exhibitting his skills and later he came to known as “Pawan Kalyan”

#  Pawan Kalyan has compassion for animals and is a vegetarian. He follows the principles of Che Guevara, Vivekananda and Jiddu Krishnamurti.
