# Priyanka Upendra’s birth name is Priyanka Trivedi, after her marriage she is referred to as Priyanka Upendra. She was born on 9th September 1977 in Kolkata, India.
# Priyanka Trivedi was doing modeling before entering films. After winning beauty pageant “Miss Kolkata” she was flooded with offers from film directors especially from Bengali film industry. Her debut film was Bengali movie ”Hathat Brishti” in 1998.
# She acted in several languages films viz Bengali, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil films. Since she is basically from Kolkata her majority of films are Bengali, but her commercial blockbusters are in Tamil making her one of the leading actresses.
# Priyanka married Kannada film director and actor Upendra on 14th December 2003. Priyanka met Upendra while filming Telugu movie Raa and they even did a kannada movie was H2O together. At present she is residing in Banashankari III Stage, Bangalore. The couple are blessed withtwo children, son Ayush [born-2007] and a daughter Aishwarya [born-2008].
# In an interview she stated that after her marriage she has decided not to do any intimate scene involving lip-lock or any such scenes.
