# Richa Pallod was born on 30th August 1980 in Bombay, India.
# She entered the films as a child artist and her acting debut as a child was in “Lamhe” alongside Anil Kapoor and Sridevi in 1991. She later appeared in Pardes starring Shahrukh Khan.
# Before entering Bollywood as an adult she started to do modeling and she was just 16 years old when she took it as her career. So far she did more than five hundred TV commercials!!
# Her next venture after modeling was music videos, she worked for Falguni Pathak’s “Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi” & “Piya Se Mil Ke Aaye Nain”.
# Her acting debut was with Telugu film “Nuvve Kavali” opposite Tarun Kumar in 2000. The film was a commercial hit and she received Filmfare best actress award for her role.
# Later in 2001 she made her Tamil acting debut with “Shajahan” opposite Vijay. The film did very well at box office. She started to appear more in south Indian films since then including Telugu, Tamil, kannada and Malayalam.
