#  Samantha Ruth Prabhu was born on 28th April 1987 Chennai, India to Malayali & Telugu parents. She is also called as Yasodha.

#  Samantha has two brothers Jonathan and David, both of them are elder brothers.

#  She attended “Holy Angels Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School” in T. Nagar and “Stella Maris College” in Chennai.

#  She has a bachelors degree in commerce.

#  She started her career as model and did few local ads before appearing in films.

# She made her acting debut with “Ye Maaya Chesave” in 2010 alongside Naga Chaitanya. The film went on to be the biggest commercial hit of the year. She won “Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut” and “Nandi Special Jury Award” for her performance in the film.
