Sarah Jane Dias biography facts

#  Sarah-Jane Dias was born 3rd December 1982 in Muscat, Oman in a Roman Catholic family to Eustace Dias, a marketing manager and Yolanda, house wife. She has a sister, Elena-Rose.

#  Her schooling was done at “Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir” and “Indian School Muscat”. She attended “Mithibai College” and “St. Andrews College” in Mumbai.

#  At the age of 14 only she won “Miss India Oman” title in 2007. She also won the title of “Femina Miss India 2007″. She even represented India at Miss World 2007.

#  Before entering films she was working as VJ at “Channel V”. Suresh Natrajan initially played vital role in molding her career. When she was 21 she got an opportunity to host a Channel V show and later hosted “Get Gorgeous” show which went on to be very successful.

#  Her acting debut was with “Brides Wanted” in 2006 but the release date was postponed several times. Hence her first movie which was released in theatre was Tamil film “Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai” in 2010 opposite Vishal Krishna. The film was a huge commercial hit and her performance was appreciated by film lovers.

#  Her Bollywood acting debut was with “Game” opposite Abhishek Bachchan in 2011 but the movie failed miserably at the box office. In the same year she did her Telugu debut with “Panjaa” opposite Pawan Kalyan and movie was considered commercial success.

#  Her favourite cuisine is Japanese and Chinese food.
