*    Seth Rogen was born on 15th April 1982 in Vancouver, Canada to Sandy, a social worker and Mark Rogen, NGO activist.

*    Rogen has an elder sister, Danya.

*    He attended “Vancouver Talmud Torah Elementary School” & “Point Grey Secondary School”.

*    Seth Rogen started his acting career when he was just 12, he attended acting workshop of Mark Pooley.

*    Rogen won “Vancouver Amateur Comedy Contest” when he was 16 years old.

*    In 1998 his father lost the job & his mother Sandy also quit her job which led the couple to sale their house and move to a smaller house. At this time Seth Rogen started to work for “Freaks and Geeks” and took the responsibility of paying the bills.

*    He started his career in 1999 with “Freaks and Geeks” alongside Linda Cardellini, James Franco and John Francis Daley but it was a failure at box office.

*    In 2000 decade he worked for commercial hits like “Knocked Up” in 2007 alongside Katherine Heigl, Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd which was a huge hit all over the world, Superbad in 2007 alongside Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Michael Cera, Pineapple Express in 2008 with James Franco, Rosie Perez and Gary Cole, Zack and Miri Make a Porno in 2008 opposite Elizabeth Banks, Jason Mewes and Craig Robinson, Observe and Report in 2009.

*    In 2010 decade he worked for blockbuster hit like The Green Hornet in 2011 alongside Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz and Christoph Waltz, the film made $227 millions in box office.

*    In 2004 he started dating actress Lauren Miller and they got engaged in Sep 2010, married on 2nd Oct 2011 in California.

“I knew I just loved comedy, and I think it was my parents who initially brought up the notion of me trying to do stand-up. I think I actually tried writing jokes just at home, just kind of sitting around. But it seemed like a very real way to step into the world of comedy. I felt I could do it, so why not?”

“When I first started, there was a real novelty element to it, I’m sure: “Look, there’s a 13-year-old kid doing comedy.” And I’m sure that bought me a lot of slack. So I was probably more confident than I should have been, if anything. I think was humbled as I got a little older doing it.”
