#  Srikanth was born on 28th Feb 1979 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India to Krishnamachari, actor & Jayanthi. His parents encouraged his film career right from the beginning.

#  He attended “SBOA Matriculation and Higher Secondary School” and “Hindustan College of Arts and Science” in Chennai. Film actor Arya was his batch mate at high school.

#  Srikanth married Vandana in 2007. She is from a Telugu family and did her MBA in Australia. They have a son Aahil (DOB: 28 Feb 2009) & daughter Ahana (DOB: 28 Jan 2011).

#  Srikanth made his acting debut with “Roja Kootam” in 2002 alongside Bhumika Chawla and Vivek. The film did very well at box office and his performance was praised by film critics and fans.

#  His initial blockbuster films are April Madhathil, Parthiban Kanavu, Bose, Kana Kandaen etc.

#  He made his Telugu debut with “Okariki Okaru” in 2003 opposite Aarthi Chhabria and the film was commercially successful.

#  After Telugu films he ventured into Malayalam also with “Uppukandam Brothers Back in Action” alongside Honey Rose and Richard Rishi in 2011.
