Sudeep biography facts

*   Sudeep was born on 2nd September 1973 in Shivamogga, Karnataka.

*   His father is hotelier and his mother is a house wife.

*   Sudeep is popularly known as Kiccha Sudeep, he is also called Kalaa Abhimanyu and Abhinaya Chakravarthi by his fans.

*   Sudeep is married to Priya & the couple have a daughter named Saanvi.

*   He studied mechanical engineering at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. After his completion of his education he started to take acting seriously.

*   Sudeep is a very good Cricket player and he used to play for the University team. He also lead the Karnataka Bulldozers team in Celebrity Cricket League.

*   Sudeep started his acting career with Tv serial “Premada Kadambari” on Udaya TV.

*   He made his film debut with “Tayavva” in 1997 but the film failed at the box office and his talent went unnoticed.

*   Sudeep later worked for Prathyartha and Sparsha with moderate success. His first blockbuster hit was Huchcha in 2001, it went on to be the biggest commercial hit of the year. Sudeep earned large fan base after the success of Huchcha.

*   After much success in his career he made his directorial debut with My Autograph in 2006 and film was a huge success. He later directed some classic films like #73 Shanti Nivas, Just Math Mathalli etc.

*   He made his Bollywood debut with thriller “Phoonk”directed by Bollywood legend Ram Gopal Varma in 2008.

*   Sudeep made his Telgu debut with Eega directed by S.S. Rajamouli,the film was huge hit. Sudeep for the first time played negative role in the film.
