# Many people believe that his first movie is Kadhal Azhivathillai in 2002 but even before entering the telugu film industry as a leading actor he used to appear as a child artist in his father films.
# Silambarasan’s father Vijaya T. Rajendar was a film director and produced many films. His mother Usha Rajendar was an actress. He has a brother and a sister.
# Even during his college days he had passion for dance and used to choreograph dances during his college days.
# Its really a pleasant surprise for his fans to know that he is a trained singer!!
# Though he did few films earlier his major commercial success which established him firmly in tollywood was Manmadhan in 2004 for which Simbu himself wrote the film script!!
# Silambarasan is also known as Simbhu or the Little Super Star of the film industry.
# Silambarasan considers Rajnikanth was his idol and in his early days of career he was critcized for copying Rajnikanth’s style but later he proved his talent in Manmadhan which shut the mouths of his critics!
# He was in love with Rajnikanth’s daughter Aishwarya since childhood. But unfortunately their marriage was not possible due to some misunderstandings between the two families. Later Aishwarya married actor Dhanush.
# After breaking up with Aishwarya he was dating Nayantara but their relationship didn’t last long.
# Silambarasan hit the major gossip columns when pictures of kissing Nayantara was released on websites. It happened after the couple break up. It was rumoured that Silambarasan himself took the pictures and released them to internet anonymously.
