#  Vishal Krishna was born on 29th Aug 1977 in Chennai, India to G. K. Reddy & Janaki Devi. His father G. K. Reddy was a well known Telugu and Tamil film producer.

#  He has a brother Vikram Krishna who is an actor, appeared under screen name of Ajay and producer. Vikram Krishna married Sriya Reddy on 9th March 2008 in Chennai. Vishal has a sister, Aishwarya.

#  Vishal attended “Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School” and “Loyola College”, Chennai. He attained a degree in Visual Communication from University of Madras.

#  After completion of his education he had an opportunity of working with Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma but he preferred to work in south Indian films and started to work with actor-director Arjun Sarja in his films Vedham and Ezhumalai. Its on the sets of Arjun Sarja’s film that he got an opportunity for Chellamae.

#  Before making his acting debut he was working as an assistant director. He made his film debut as an actor in “Chellamae” in 2004 and his initial commercial successful movies are Sandakozhi and Thimiru.

#  Noted actor and film producer Udhayanidhi Stalin was his college mate and still they are good friends.
